Karcher lance help

Our old Karcher is leaking water from the handle, the O ring has a backing type washer thats disintegrated, it the handle with the hose screws in to it.
I have been given a new type that has quick release on the end can this be made to fit if so how?

One on the left leaks around the trigger area one on the right is good one

The two lances are totally different inside

There is an adaptor available that connects a threaded type hose to a quick-release lance.
When I did mine it was cheaper to buy a complete nilfisk assembly than the parts to sort out the karcher one though

could you pick the remaining piece out and try two O rings, might not work for so long but could get you working now

Tried that it just blows the O ring out

Not yet I got the impression that are a big outfit who wont be interested in my one seal, or charge me £20 for it!

Free is good, just thinking about machining one from nylon? I have Email Karcher but the website has a big thing about refunds taking 21 days so I doubt they will look at my Email any time soon.

Karcher don’t usually sell any parts for triggers, they only sell the complete trigger

It looks to be 10mm OD
7mm ID
1.5mm thick

Thanks Could do with one ASAP, I might just have to make one?
The real rub is I was offered a full set of Karcher bits a few weeks ago but said no as I have all I need!

Any of these look suitable? The ones with the protruding thread, the bottom two, the thread isn't 1/4" BSP. I can measure them properly if you need.

Thanks but none of them fit the hose on mine is fixed, I will have a bash at making a backing ring at the weekend

No worries, it's prompted me to deal with the pressure washer hoard. That ^ is only a part of it.
