Hi,
just wandering whether anyone has purchased a KMS direct branded pressurised blaster?
I did a search and there was a thread from last year but just wandering if anyone has yet used or purchased one?

not sure whether spending the extra £100 will show any results, will be used with ally oxide 60-80 grit for alloy wheels and some small bits.

They work well and are good value for money making them very popular, plenty on information on here.

The nozzle's do wear, keep any eye on this as an increase in the nozzle size significantly reduces the effectiveness of the blasting process.

there half decent if u cut the nozzle and tap arangement of the end and fit a carbide nozzle dont expect fast results using a 3mm jet and a 14cfm compressor though

Do you have info on how to do this?

Also what nozzle size would you recommend for 14cfm?

Get a 2.5mm carbide nozzle from here

Hold in place with a Jubilee clip, if the ID of the hose is too large pack it out with some smaller hose &c,

Thanks for that. I'm also looking to get some J-Blast Supafine as thats whats been recommended on here for bodywork etc.

What sort of sanding grade equivelent will the J-Blast leave the blasted substrate?

just noticed your post j blast will leave a fine finish.ideal for painting with verry little pitting about the grade of 300 wet and dry

Would this be ideal for Lechler Epoxy primer?

On the substrate prep part of the data sheet, it just says sand or sandblast and doesn't give a grit:
