Kubota D902 engine fan belt

Does anyone happen to know what the correct size of v-belt is supposed to be fitted to a Kubota D902 engine fitted in a mini excavator? The one here is that worn it makes a hellish noise, and there’s no more adjustment left. I suspect it’s too big to start with, and I don’t know what section it originally was.

Cross ref part number gives 35” x 1/2”

One odd site gave it as 34-1/2” x 1/2”

About an hour ago I was next to one in a mower so could’ve measured it

I cannot find the profile anywhere online though.

The one I’ve taken off is much smaller than 35” it’s measuring about 830mm

It will be, the generic kubota powerpack type engines have the alternators hanging out in the wind, on the diggers everything is in very tight to the engine.

Maybe it’s manufacturer specific? Digger manufacturer I mean.

Just been out to look at my Kubota tractor , but it's a d905 engine and has a separate alternator belt.

Separate from the fan belt? This thing only has one belt doing the fan/water pump and the alternator

Kubota u17 excavator runs with a d902, belt for one of those is an 11a x825mm.

Makes sense given the 830mm that I measured, maybe it was too small a section belt that was fitted

In my experience it depends on the size of the pulley on the alternator.

We've got eight, 1.5 l Kubotas and four 2.2, if you fit a non OEM alternator, depends on the size of the pulley.
