Hi all, I am doing a favour for a friend, he has an old generator like the one here,
https://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/kubota-petrol-generator.105500/,
if only it looked as good as that one!! so gave it the once over, it had been lying for a very long time in damp shed, everything frozen with rust, but after a night of pottering at it it started an eventually produced power, had to plug in a drill pull the trigger and spin the chuck by hand backwards , after the 3rd or 4th spin away it went, I left it running for a while thinking that was it, tried it tonight, I had to put the drill on it again, one spin and away it went, left it running with a lamp on drawing power, hoping that will be in now when I try it tomorrow. Is there anything else I need to do?
Thanks
