Ladder handling trollies

For the local fire brigade workshops, trollies for handling ladders, all mild steel migged together.

Fabbing them up using my trusty squares,

Build one frame then use it as a jig to make the others

Getting bigger

Finished job, quick coat of paint and fitted with 10" pneumatic tyres for use on rough ish ground, and a folding leg at each end to hold them up while being loaded

Folding legs at the end retained in the up position by a simple rotating catch

And ready to be delivered, just the paperwork to do now

those legs want a plate on them will sink in uneven ground or soft soil

I wonder about the engineers though. Why would they specify such a substantial build with a solid axel, and then have tires on plastic wheels ?

Destaco have been supplying a wide range of clamps etc. to industry for a long time and don't really sell to the public so no need to put prices on.
