Lansec Translight helmet.

Hi.
Can anyone tell me how to change the AAA batteries in my Lansec translight helmet (year 2000) There is nothing in the instruction manual except to tell you that there are two AAA batteries.

Hiya mike!
Are there solar cells on your mask? (to charge the batteries) with some masks you can't change the batteries...does it still work?

But they don't mention anything about changing the batteries...

Helmet batteries.

Hi ,
My helmet is the type at the front of the catalogue that you posted and the lens type is a Turbo IN
I have the handbook which says there are 2 AAA batteries.
It does still work however, so must also get its power from solar/infra red source I assume.
There are two metal clips that I will probably have to move to get the whole unit out and have a closer look.

Try to leave it in the sunlight for a while, so the cells can charge the batteries.
And clean the lenses, take the protectionshields out (if you can) and clean under them...That usually helps a lot!

Hi

I have one of these helmets. To change the battery's - inside the helmet hold the lens unit and lift the bottom edge towards you slightly ( enough for the end to lift out of the holder ) and slide downwards. It's spring loaded and slides in and out easily.The battery compartment is on the top edge where you'll find a cover that unclips.
