They're for tool and cutter grinders and you grind on the front face of the cup, trying to use the inside would be akin to grinding on the side of a bench grinder wheel.Found something. BUT it's 4 inch and they all seem a similar size.

I will grab a few of those if the diameter is well over 20mm.You can buy die grinder stones with a concave ball end. I got a coarse one from zoro a few weeks back, bit too coarse for this. The worn, pink stone on the right is much finer, you could dress any die grinder stone with a diamond point.

Cut type would be a useful thing to have, so Im planning to make a smaller one with a 30 degree chamfer to match the thread angle. I use a SDNCN tool in lathe works well, plus square needle file as the last half turn is always burred - no nice way to prevent that.
