Yes, it was very fiddly but I've managed to avoid setting fire to anything so far......even myself! :-)Nice, very fiddly welding on that scale as well.

That's a really good idea! I'll try that as it's hard to keep the little bits where they need to be sometimes :-)I sometimes use a small magnet to hold small pieces in place

I hope you don't mind, but the wife is very taken with idea of a great big (i.e. 3ft tall) reindeer in the front garden, so I was going to use your excellent creation as a model for a larger version.
I got 6mm rod from the local dealer today (£9.80 for 24m!) and I'm going to use the old sump guard from my truck as his body.
Oh.... and solar power led lights. Nobody said it had to be tasteful
