Well I took my last Plankton sculpture to a show a few eeks back and it sold on the first day.
My collection at work is dwindling scarily this year, nice but not so good when peple come to visit.
So I had to get busy.
Another Radiolarian, a bit fancier than last time but using the same style structure and pivot.
The spiky bit at the top is removeable for transit and gives the hance to play about with different shapes. Keeping the weight at the top seems to help with the movement, wobbly but not fally over.
A youtube clip of it in action.
It almost sold yesterday, I think I may have stumbled across a popular item.
I do fancy making more of them but will try to keep them simple and avoid getting too clever or fancy.
