Lathe Rack Feed

Whilst I'm in 'New Thread' mode, has anyone got any experience of different tailstock feeds?
Just fitted one to my Myford and it has made nearly eveything easier, especially tapping as the tap 'draws' itself into the job.
Do find though that drilling is much harder but maybe because I've lost the multistart thread that the tailstock had.

Nice. Super 7B? I'm a Boxford man myself, but then I don't need the precision of a 7, more the agricultural hatchetting that the VSL allows...

Cazeneuve lathes come from the factory with a feed like that on the tailstock.
Im not sure if HES lathes are the same too.
One extra is the cazeneuve can be bought with a power feed option on the tailstock too. Ive seen a lot of people saying nice things about the rack feed on the tailstock of them amongst other things.

Im going to get myself a caz hbx760 or a martin one day
