I'm in the process of switching to a less restrictive 1/2" pressure regulator and wanted to fit a lever ball valve after the regulator so that I can switch the air off.
Just bought a 1/2" BSP 15mm full bore lever valve from Screwfix which I thought would do the job, however on the handle the following is written :-
"GAS MOP = 5bar Water/Oil PN20"
5 bar is only 72psi, so am I right to think that this valve is unsuitable (most of my tools want 90psi) and should therefore return it?
I see lots of pictures of lever ball valves on people's setups. What lever ball valves are generally recommended? I see Chinese eBay stainless ones that claim to be good for 1000psi, are these a better bet?
Many thanks.
