Lidl Parkside 50L compressor

Any good? My local Lidl appeared to have these for about £150. 50l tank, looked like a direct drive compressor.

Yeh there ok, only fault I had with my old one was the shim valve, was soft, I just made a new one and put it in, worked a treat for years

i have one, not the same make but its the same thing. been fine for me, noisey!

whats this shim stack you speak of jim?

Just the suction and discharge valve on the cylnder head, it's 2 little shim steel valves, they overheated and deformed, I made new ones and fitted them, only took about an hour

guessing it took a while to build up preasure?

Yeh, didn't get past couple of bar and it was blowing oil mist out cause of high ccp

Lidl usually do a 3 year warranty on tools/machinery.
Can't really go wrong with that.
