Linking additional air tank.

Hello.
I have got a 50l Aldi compressor and a 25l sealey compressor.Could I use the 25l sealey tank for extra air. If this is possibly can someone describe how to do this in very simple terms please .

Picture would help but it could be as simple as joining them with a a t-piece, two short bits of hose and some quick-connects.
You would be best off joining them upstream of any regulator - so you are just joining the tanks together, not the regulated outlet line.
I'm guessing they are not permanently fixed in position so you probably don't want to hard-pipe them together.
Check on the safe working pressure of both, will not be a problem but just check.

Do both the compressors have to be working or can you fill both tanks from one compressor? I'm interested in doing the same and I have 50l with a burnt out motor, also a new 100l sealed.

Either, it doesn't matter. Compressor will keep pumping until it reaches pressure and switches off.

I converted a tank which may or may not have been a propane tank (higher SWP than the compressor one) to use as additional volume, mounted on the outside wall of the garage and tee'd in to the supply from the compressor. Same principle. The extra capacity makes a huge difference, much less stop/start cycles on the compressor motor.

with extra tanks you also have to consider wear and tear and the heat entering the tank with more pumping of the compressor to fill the tanks used some motors have a duty cycle 25l and 50l systems might not have a continuous rating on them

i linked my 2 a while back 100L and a 50L they both can be on and running or 1 on and i have valves on both so i can just use 1 tank and 1 compressor or 2 tanks and 1 compressor or 2 compressors and both tanks, I did have to change the blow of valve on the smaller tank. I dont always turn them both on depends on the job at hand

I sometimes fill my rather large twin pump compressor tank up using my mobile road tow comp . turn the key and engine starts and tank is full in 10 seconds I sometimes do it if I'm blasting for 20 mins in cabinet if it hasn't run in a while. it hardly notices it being used. slightly over tick over
