So, I'm totally new to MIG welding, only just got set up so thought I better have a play. I've recently converted from the crappy disposable bottles to a SGS one and I'm worried about it falling over so decided I needed a cart ! Problem is that what I had in the small steel stock in my garage is all I had ... pretty pleased with the outcome considering it's built from nowt
I've only got a single garage thats always got motorbikes in it, and can't weld on the main bench because of all the stuff around it , so I've also made a little fold down welding table in the doorway, again only a bit of scrap 6mm plate but so much easier for me, and will do what I want it to.
Oh and clearing all the crap out of the way I discovered some old spanners so made a fish ... like you do !
Right, now I need to start practicing in earnest because although I can stick two bits of metal together ... it ain't pretty !
