I had a new shed a few weeks ago and have been looking at ways of keeping the scrotes out of it.
Knocked this up last weekend out of some offcuts of 30mm and 40mm box and a motorcycle D-lock.
The hinge end.
I cut an angle on the box to allow the shed door to open past 90 degrees:
The business end.
I drilled through the box section and migged some tube through it for the shackle to pass through. Trying to keep it a snug fit so less gaps for wrecker bars to be slipped in:
End product:
Drilled through the shed internal frame and bolted up with M8 coachbolts, massive penny washers, and nylocs.
Just gave it a couple of coats of Aldi silver metal paint.
This is an awful picture because it was sunny... I was in the shade... my camera is @rse :
Nice easy little job really. Took a couple of hours to knock up - including headscratching, measuring, and sort of making it up as I went along.
