Hi all,
22, from London, like to tinker about with bikes. I've had no formal education on how to weld, only been taught by my friend who was taught in the garage where he works. But whatever I do it seem ok (strong and not ugly). I can tell and gauge what a good weld is and what I need to do it, i.e. control power, control wire feed etc. I would love to have some forma education and really know about metal work. May do an evening course one day who knows!
Ive got a Cebora 130 pocket mig, had it about a year, used it a fair bit, it does me fine. The other day i turned it on and the gas just kept flowing. Even when the power is off (by the mains) and i turn the gas on I can hear it still flowing. A bit of research said it could be the solenoid valve? This is a much as I know! Not very knowledgeable about the insides of a welder. Any clues?
Thanks all!
