looking for 2mm flat spring steel stock

im looking for some flat spring steel 2mm in thickness and roughly 20 mm in width and about 300 mm long so not a big piece,its for the back springs of a small folding knife im making

You could possibly try cutting up an old large 12"-14" wood circular saw blade? they are usually about 2mm thick.

Power hacksaw/Donkey saw blade? Thats springy and about the right size?....

Buy some 2mm O1 tool steel from Cromwell it's not expensive and you can spring temper it quite easily following instructions you can find anywhere on the internet. The method I use is simple, heat it to non mag and quench in oil then take it out and blow lamp it till the oil flares off. I repeat the flare off a couple more times and haven't had a fail yet.

I've got plenty of silver steel In 2 mm though either D2 or 01 would be suitable.
