Looking for a compressor

I'm looking for some advice really .....
I'm currently rebuilding a classic car and once I've done all the welding etc it will need rubbing down and painting.
I've already done one and made do with a 2hp direct drive 90l sip....I now would prefer a larger unit.
I'm currently borrowing a 3hp 90l belt drive compressor( can't remember the make) and this works really well and will run the sander etc but I'm reluctant to keep using it as its not mine.
I'd like something about 1200x400.... 3 hp perhaps?
I have a 16A socket I the garage for my welder so this can be used and I guess I could add a 32A if I had to but rather not.
I've found a Abac a39 150litre 16A supply with a relatively high delivery rate but it's £540 so my question is is this any good or is there a better alternative?

If my understanding is correct......
I can't find what the free air delivery is for the red clarke.... They just list the max it produces and not what's delivered to the tool. The abac is 10.1 cfm free air which appears pretty good and will power the air sander etc.
I'd also need a vat free voucher £369 v £540 is a good saving even if I had to buy a regulator.

try go for the belt driven ones as they are quieter then the direct drive ones.

Well priced option from Amazon - belt driven. A number of us on here have one and it's been well liked.

Depending on how much you want to use it. A 3hp Clarke industrial is a good more heavy duty option and the Wolf is a good option for a normal DIY option (it's outlet can be improved too). If spraying and using a air fed mask you will need more than 3hp though.

The only issue with the clarke industrial is the tank sizes appear much bigger.....
I'd already realised that the belt drive were much quieter having used my friends so that's a definite.
Other than that I think I'm limited to 3hp due to cost and power supply?
I spray with celulose so no need for an air fed mask but would like it to run the sander at least for a short while at a time.

Does anyone know anything about the abac units?
They are a similar price and spec to the clarke industrial but use a shorter tank which is preferable as I don't want it too big.

a larger tank takes longer to fill. but then it also takes longer to empty..
i used to have a 50L comp and it was near on always running...

also with a clarke you can use a vat free voucher to sweeten the deal.
