Looking for an bolt down anchor/winch point ?

Now i have a lathe here that is piggin heavy, as expected, so i dont cause me or even worse the lathe any damage i want ti fit a winch point in the work shop. I want one though i can bolt down, it will be out the way of foot traffic so that makes things easier. It will be for just dragging in things upto say 1/2ton by trolley or engine crane so on wheels

I want one for this weekend so i have been looking on Screw/station and now looking on amazon.

Any thoughts on good ones?

( i have no materials or time to make one )

Core drill an 1 1/2" hole in the concrete and slide/beat a pole into it, use that to winch off and remove/plug it when finished with.

hes not said what hes got or able to use

but a pulley and winch will move just about anything

Use a piece of 2” x 1/4” thick angle iron bolted down with a hole in the vertical to take a shackle or similar. Use rawbolts that take a bolt then you can take the bolts out and put a bit of studding in (or cut off bolt) with a screwdriver slot in it.
I have the above in my garage and have use it to Tirfor Landrovers in and winch my lathe in.

I was meaning a actual winch pot that bolts down. I was going to fit one in when concreting but i forgot by time i go to the concreting.

Its not that easy as its 7inch thick concrete and a good 10 inch or hardcore under it.

Thats an idea i was after but cant get the materials soon enough

Dig a hole, put an old steel wheel at the bottom with a chain attached through the centre, fill the hole in and you have a ground anchor wherever you need it. Or make a pin anchor with some 75 x 5mm flat bar and 25mm rebar pins.... just make sure there's no cables or pipes below where you want to deploy it. Attach to a electric or Tirfor winch, move stuff, drink tea and eat dead pig after, job jobbed.

personaly a keyhole cut into thick plate is all you need

either use a slot in type of eye or just a thick bar with a hoop through will do it

In bodyshops they have a plate with a X in it with a bit of a hole below. You just drop the end of a 5/8 chain in and the link latches on one leg of the X

They have a few so you can fix the car to some chains and body jacks to others.

I’ll try and find a picture or draw what I mean.

edit: quick google says they are called ‘Floor Pots’

just use some sleeve bolts and a U plate from screwfix. hell a decent eye bolt may do the job in that thick concrete

i have some here but i dont like the look on the eye plates, the bar is 8mm for the eye. seems just to feeble, just paranoid maybe.
