Looking for vehicle carpet underlay

I need to replace the "shoddy" underlay in my land cruiser.
It's got soaked through at some point in the past and is mouldy.

Can anyone recommend a replacement material?

I want something non-flammable, sound deadening, and waterproof (or at least that water will quickly drain from, unlike the original stuff).

I also want it to be non-adhesive [1] so regular "sound deadening" campervan insulation is out of the window.

Does it stay soaked after getting wet?

Also, isn't horse hair _very_ flammable?
I seem to remember using horse hair (from a mattress) as tinder.

only if you set fire to it , geussing it will be under carpet?

I buy rolls of foil clad, closed cell insulation, 10mm thick. It comes on a roll and does the job beautifully, even in the engine bay.

Like @ajlelectronics says. Ive used stuff sold as "Low-E". Proper aluminium faces on both sides with closed cell in the middle. Pretty decent sound deadening as well as insulation, it'd do the job well I'd say.
I stuck mine on walls etc using "Trimfix adhesive spray (good stuff, but you aren't getting the insulation off easily!) You could just use bits of carpet tape in pertinent spots if you needed it to "sit" neatly till you got the carpet back on top maybe?
(If you wanted really good sound-deadening, then "Dodo Mat" or similar stick-on rectangles work well to take the "thrum" out of body panels).

Mine was one sided and self adhesive. Plenty of Chinese sellers, but beware that their 10mm is often 6mm thick, so go next one up perhaps.

I'll be cooking in the back, so might be an issue.
Rather not take the risk - otherwise I'd just use camping sleeping mats.
