Hi. Pal gave me this old mig welder fir me to learn with. Pretty old and it needs a new swan neck. The bit at top doesn't come off. Any idea where I could get a replacement. I ordered other one online taking a chance but its way bigger than picture looked lol. Thanks.

Google MAC tools and find your local Van Man.
They have, in the past, helped me out on older tools etc.

If the thread on the bottom one is the same as the top you should be able to remove the coupler and screw it in, although you may need to modify the grip housing and/or remove some of the black plastic from the new swan neck.
Another option is to fit a euroconnector socket to the welder then any torch/harness will fit.
I did a "how to replace the liner" thread while ago that may be of help.

I had much the same problem sometime ago. I got on eof the "industIral" swan necks from Machine Mart ( https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/industrial-swan-neck/ ) but like you found the threads were different sizes. If I recall the biger thread is M10 x1.0mm and the one you need is M8 x 1.0mm.
As I had a diebox (thread cutter used on laths) i was able to use a set of M8 x1.0mm dies and by opening it right out could slowly recut the thread from M10 to M8. Note you wont be able to do this with a normal die and stock as it won't open enough to get on the M10 diameter.
An option fopr you might be to get a connector made up (female/female) bit like the one you have on the new one BUT with M10 one end and M8 the other. note also it will need the correct pitch threads.

I was going change the full gun and wire but even getting that off is pretty difficult and it's pretty old so don't think worth throwing money at it.
