Just wondering before I send it off for repair if anyone has a quick fix or if I'm overlooking something simple. Today I was welding tig dc on 155 amps for about a minute or so repairing a broken dumbbell collar for a local gym and suddenly there was a pop and the power in my shed went out. I re-set the circuit breaker and was happy to find the welder power back up however when I went to carry on welding the arc was just making a feint buzzing noise and only producing a couple of amps even though it was set at max 155. I tried it on ac and with stick and it just produces an arc with a couple of amps. Another thing I noticed was the display was doing some crazy song and dance switching between modes and the numbers were fluctuating even though no arc was struck. I have had it past 155 without any overheating problems or current draw problems in the past. Anyway any advice would be really appreciated before I bite the bullet and send it off.
Thanks in advance
