Lorch flylead

Hi
does any body know how\who to get a three phase to single phase flylead for a Lorch mig? I mean it's a 1(2) 3 phase machine I just need a lead to plug/socket into the 5 pin and then it is a three pin affair. Not even sure if its 16 amp blue or three pin houshold one! Any thoughts. Also how could I contact Matt1978 if he does this sort of thing?

i think the welder is 400v single phase so you can make the lead yourself there is nothing special about it

Why not just change the plug on the welder?

Like you say, MK. It could be one of those dual voltage M-pro welders.

thanks for the replies, but it was an 'M' type welder (M6001) that is single/three (2) phase welder. It welds like a dream too. BUt I would still like a flylead three-single phase if anyone can help.

can you take a picture of the input part of the machine because if its a true 3ph (uses all three phase) then its not as simple as moakeing up a lead set. If it uses 2 phases to give you 400V single and has a change over switch from 230V to 400V then its a simple blue 3 pin to red 4 or 5 pin lead and i can give you links to website to get the gear off

Hello and thanks- it really has taken this long to get back on the net -now in my home not public library!!! How good is sk*+Hd-only been waiting since october!

It does use tw0 phases and has a change over switch madkayaker- and thanks for reply.
