Lorch m252 couple of questions

I have a project I'm doing at home that requires welding thin panels , a focus RS to be precise.
Do the standard wire rollers work with 0.6mm wire , and is it possible to fit a 5kg spool to these .
I work away so don't have access to my manual , and can't download one as I need the serial number .

Hi Chris,

The Rollers are dual size. Usually the M-Pro 252 comes with 0.8/1.0 as standard. We do sell 0.6/0.8 as optional extras. You wouldn't be able to feed 0.6 wire on 0.8 rollers as it would slip.

You can use a 5kg spool on that machine.

You should be able to weld anything on a Focus using .8 wire, try it before you go down to .6. I haven't used .6 wire on cars since the roll I got with my first welder ran out.
