My boss ordered a lorch m pro 252 which arrived today , the shop called to say it was in but it does not come with regulator or mig torch , did you get them with yours or have I been stitched up . Unfortunatly the boss used the shop where he has an account and not weld equip , or they would have come with the mig .

I doubt the reg comes with it. I was asked what torch i wanted with mine, which thinking about it now could be they don't come with one or you have to specify what you want when ordering. There could have been a mix up at that last stage. They are just a bog standard euro fitting so you could fit anything you want.

Chris, you'll probably get the same with all sorts of professional welding equipment manufacturers, and their dealers. You order parts, not a package.
Saying that, if I were in your boss's shoes, I'd be straight on the phone telling them they'd forgotten to include the torch. Regulator - buy that yourself, that's totally standard - never expect it to be included.
What I'm saying is don't blame Lorch - if you suggested the purchase, you made a good suggestion.

im not blaming anyone lol , i was just wondering if they they were trying to pull a fast one before i spend more money , not bothered about the reg as i have one off the tig i bought off steve a couple of years ago.
to me though its like buying a car and finding out you have to buy the steering wheel seperate lol .

The price shown on the forum shop was a package that Steve and I put together to include Torch, Reg and Earth lead. The price represents excellent value for money as it also includes Delivery and VAT.
Unless specified (such as by Weldequip) none of the prices automatically include a torch, reg or earth lead. We used to include a ready to weld package price but this was changed. This was for a number of reasons.....
1) A lot of choice regarding torch model (MB 15, MB 25 MB 36) and then all available in 3, 4 or 5 meter lengths and inevitably the one we specified in the package usually turned out to be the wrong one.
2) We don't make the torches, they are genuine Binzel and most of our distributors, usually have a direct account with Binzel themselves or someone such as Parweld and they felt that they could save a few quid by putting the package together themselves.

Got it sorted now , they did me a binzel mb25 at a good price and threw in a free earth lead and spare tips , would have been nice to know it didn't come with these , but probably the best way as you say matt so you can choose the torch that best suits your needs .

I'm new to the forum and I will be looking to replace my mig soon I like the look of the lorch machines and would like to trial one i would be using it to weld mainly thin body panels and sheet metal work i want to have high quality welds in only steel as i have modern ind water cooled ac/dc tig. There is so much choice but i only want to make the right one. Can any one enlighten me
