Howdy!
I am looking for some help with this new to me tig torch-
I cannot figure out how to use the secondary current button.
Tig welder- T220 AC/DC Control pro.
I have the welder set as per factory settings where the button is set to select a secondary current.
In the welder control settings, I can set a secondary current (I2), but while welding I cannot figure out how to access this current. If I select the secondary current befor engaging the arc, the secondary current shows on the parameter display, but welding happens only with the Main current (I1)
The manual also does not really explain the use of this feature.
I would like to have a secondary current to use for aluminum welding so that I can switch to secondary current, when the main current gets the part too hot. Does any one else use the torch in this manner?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Peter
