I've been looking for a cheap 50 ltr compressor to use until I sort out the conversion of my 150ltr Ingersol Rand from three to single phase. Seeing it won't get much use before being relegated as a back up I thought a cheap and cheerful Chinese item would do the job. Looking on eBay plenty about for around £100 new. Looking on JTF website I see they have what looks exactly the same as these for £71.99 incl vat -

Yesterday dropped by the local store and had a look at them "in the flesh". Very disappointed with quality so reckon I've had a lucky escape as was previously seriously considering buying one off eBay and you can imagine how I'd feel after unwrapping on delivery if bought blind.
Now decided to crack on and sort out the IR. Already got a brand new 3hp industrial 110v motor I've forgotten about so intend using that with transformer instead of searching for a 3hp 240v motor as they seem to cost a small fortune.
