Machine mart filter/reg

Are the above any good,and would i be wise to change my standard one for one of them,and for which model,as they sell loads of different ones.Also if i replace it,what can i do with the water filter i have already bought,can i put further down the line or something.

I've had quite a bit of trouble with those in the past. I'm currently using one from Thorite which has done me well for a few years.

Go for one with 1/2 in bsp ports.

I'd be inclined to put the water trap near the tank and the filter/reg as close to where you're working, that way you keep the pressure in the pipe at tank pressure whcih helps flow.

To be honest the comp is in the shed,and i just drag the airline round the front when i use it,so how would i do it,cant really stick it on the wall out the front.lol.

make a trypod to stand it on thats what i use weld one up this is the welding forum lol

I wouldn't worry too much, if it's inconvenient then do it whichever way is easiest.

I've got copper pipe to a couple of points where I use air, and then a regualtor fitted with a PCL coupling to plug my hose into.
