Machine Mart tools ?

Now my compressor is running sweet....well it runs smoother after an oil change and fires up still as some said it wont with out blowing a 13amp fuse as i used 10w40 oil

It is a Jetair J11 3hp, max 150psi 11CFM

Mainly for now it will be to do work on a small boat and sand down ( prep work )

I like MM ( i pass one everyday after work ) but unsure of the tool quality

I am looking at air lines and found this 9mm one, 10m should do me.

I am not much up on air tools etc but from what i read larger air lines are better and not to cheap pon air tools are better.

Now I am looking at this sander from MM but i see it says load air consumption is 14cfm but average is 5cfm, does that mean my comp will not run at full wack for long, well at all ?

Just to make it harder i have just seen these kits on ebay, low air consumption.

Or are they just cheap naff.

pigin nora Snoop, now a few folk said that air sander will be better and easier and faster.

i use the electric DA dont know about faster, there are some small air palm sanders

I run a cheapish DA, they can be air hungry but it depends on how you you have set, that set on ebay doesn't look too bad.

I fully understand what snoop say with regards to the overheads of running a compressor but I would still take a air powered DA every day of the week.

A lot of MM stuff is just branded far east stuff and you may as well buy from ebay/Aldi/Lidl but MM is convenient and they generally have stuff in stock.

Clarke air tools are crap but if that's all u can afford or don't want to spend much there better than nothing

Snooper has a valid point regarding the DA, for many years I always used air and in recent years I swapped to an electric and found it as good as air in most areas, but it has far more control than air.

In that case guys I will invest in a new electric DA, the one i have is ok`ish but after sanding most of the boat and not being a new sander it is getting tired.

Go for quality, it pays with these.
