This is my first post, excuse me for being thick, but I have spent a good five minutes trying to suss out how to post, could not spot nothing relevent on first looking in on the main posting board...Could be me...but there you go...
Got a problem with my Cebora Sound, welder, had it for nearly ten years, use it every day, but now it wont weld,
First the fan,(which runs from startup) started running slowly, and shortly afterwards it give up the ghost... the symptoms it has now is that:
The fan no longer runs.
The gas solonoid is permanantly open
The wire will glow red if kept pressed to the workpiece.
The engineer say's its the power transformer, cost £800....Can this be true I wonder?.....Like to think it was something else....Anybody able to help?
