Made my first thing

Hi,
Made my first thing today.

I know its not pretty but its functional. It's a bracket to go under a bench to hold on my vice.
The time and effort in making this just fills me with admiration for those on this forum who do some increadable work and make it seem so easy.

It's a 'thing' of beauty - and will probably be in use by your grandkids sometime in the future!

I like it. My vice is held down with nuts bolts and washers so I think it's a cracking idea.
I know it's only sitting under the bench but dressing the corners and burs and buffing off any spatter etc Makes a huge difference to a fabrications visual appearance. The common term is "finishing" looks great but give It a finish.
