Magnet holders.

I know I could make a model but I can't believe they have not been created already.
Just looking to house some magnets. Some 25mm wide and others 10mm wide.
I envisaged something like a pawn (chess piece) with a hole in the bottom to take magnets. Glued in the bottom by araldite or some cheap means.

Anyone seen any STL's I could use on their travels.

This one is OK but only has a 3mm hole.
I found one with 9mm hole but can't seem to download stl from cults website.

I designed and printed some that use button magnets with a countersunk hole; the magnets aren't recessed inside though but screwed onto the end; I'll take some photos tomorrow if of any interest?

Yeah I was considering doing some in Ali. But my mill is in bits and as I have a grandkids free week except for today. Lol and a shopping trip my wife has blagged I was hoping to get some workshop time.. I thought I could print some while doing useful stuff...print and let it run.

They are only to keep birch ply level in my laser Booth.

Yes but it's more prone to failure and things to go wrong..

You could have drawn one quicker than typing out the first post. Even if a model existed already, you could draw it quicker than finding it on Thingiverse. One sketch, one revolve, print.

Everything is simple if you know how.

You could make it even easier for me by creating it and sending me a screen shot of how you did it together with the F360 file.

I'd make the hole in the bottom a bit shallow so the magnets stick proud... Make sure they have good contact with whatever they're stuck too

Not the ones I currently have.
They are not strong enough......

might try some myself... have a metal backed glass whiteboard at work, magnets are supposed to stick to it, so far only 1 type out of the half dozen I've tried stick... and they're not that good

I suspect that with really, really strong magnets you may start encountering problems maintaining adhesion between magnet and holder when removing it..?

(Unless you use a design like mine above.)
