Off the back of Slither's thread. There's a lot of missing covers out there, with all the gap bed pieces I suspect, is it worth taking a mould and making one in glassfibre? My metal working skills mean anything I made from sheet would look like sheet.
The mould would need to be of the inside so the cover would sit properly, and that would mean lots of finishing, or taking moulds of moulds and then being accurate with the lay up.
