MAKITA battery strimmer.

Has or does anyone own a makita battery opperated grass strimmer, was debating about purchasing 1 , the grass under the sheep electric fence is growing too quickly , my petrol 1s a bit of a faff to get going again after a refuel so wonderred about a battery1 , i have two 6ah batteries from my impact wrench .

im thinking of the big1 with the cow horns and double batteries , but in general theyany good.

ive not got a makita version but a maccalister one and its works fine but compaired to a petrol version its a bit under powered

its fine just means you got to cut it more regular than leaving it longer between cuts

with my petrol one i cut the edges every 2 cuts with the battery every time but the saving is time as if the grass round the edge is shorter its takes no time at all and i dont have to get fuel get it running just pop in grab battery one go out door and its done in 12 mins

A guy I know has one, brilliant bit of kit - I’ve got a stihl fs180 which obviously munches its way through faster but it’s light, no fuss, quiet and powerful enough for even a largeish area.

Got one, what a relief not dragging a cord all over.
A 4Ah battery covers whole garden.

Not used one but I have one or 2 makita tools.....

It's amazing what is going battery powered, even sthil saws and core drills
