Mask modification

Decided to make a cheap little mod to my mask, got fed up of not seeing what I'm doing.
Not bad for £3 in home bargains

A good idea I reckon - I've been meaning to do the same for a while. I *did* get around to the opposite matter of keeping light out - to prevent reflections caused by light coming from behind my head:

My cheap lidl one had a small led built into it, it's clever as it switches off when you actually start welding and when you flip it up. Thought it would just be a bit of a gimmick but I now find myself missing it if I'm using a different mask.

Yes very easy, it just clips on to the holder.

My daughter modeling, she has a pink camo mask though. She helps me with all of my projects.

Best mod I did was to fit a cardboard "divider" just above where my nose is with the mask down - stops the glass misting up in the cold. Means I no longer hold my breath while tigging - yes I know...
