ME schnails!

heres me snails ones made from 16mm round and ones 10 mil the smaller was the first they took me about an hour to do each
heres some pics, i wanted to test my new camera out!

Nice one.
I saw some stuff like this where they had been pressed, I think the artist had made one then used a press to force it into a slug of redhot metal.
I have got one somewhere, I'll see if I can dig it out to show you. These were ammonites though.

thanks, these were into a taper about 8 inches long then out into a round taper then about a half inch bent over the anvil then rolled back on itself then repeat this til you have a decent looking scroll then in a former in the vice bend the remaining metal 180 degrees round then reheat and tighten the u shape part down to a short round point t for the tail then just infront of the scroll about 3 inches split the metal straight down the middle about an inch this will make the ears things then reheat and bend up until it looks like the head

if i had more time i would have melted some copper or brass into it
il take some pics step by step next time
