Meccano constructor car style No2

Having a go at making another Meccano style car styled on a Bentley blower for the Grandchildren. Not a toy just something to sit on a shelf someplace for them to look at in years to come. It's going to take time as it's winter and cold in the shed popping inside for coffee and a warm up. Here's the work so far. It's all about bending metal so hope I've posted this in the correct place

Has anybody ever seen this one in the flesh? An acquaintance off an old forum spent ten years building it in secret.

No, sorry, but that vehicle should be considered as unacceptable.

None of the screw heads line up properly. :scared:

Thank you all for your kind comments, much appreciated .So today I have carried out a bit more fabrication today, not much progress as the temperature is very low. Shrunk the boot area and wheeled smooth, tidied up the grill and had a quick polish to see if it will do and made the front chassis legs. Curved over the edges hear and there to see how it all fits

He was 80 when he finished it, which was over 5 years ago. I’ve not heard much word about him recently. He used to post quite regularly on the Britchopper forum, but not seen anything for a while.
