Here are a couple of short videos which show how well the NFC technology works.

The first one shows how easy it is to "lock" the machine out to stop anyone messing with the set up of the machine or as a extra level of security in the event that the equipment becomes stolen.

The second one shows again, with the use of the NFC cards how easy it is to help with Quality Control and Quality Assurance, you can vary the access that certain people have to the parameters of the machine, so they can only make +\- 10% parameter adjustment for example.

This video shows how changing the stick out very quickly, the arc length is constant, due to the rapid digital control. The machine can make up to 1 Million calculations per second, so it is always looking at what it should be, what it is, and then adjusting accordingly

They're great sets bud. We have ordered the new Jasic sets with 5 year warranty!!! Cause I know the bloke he let us try them first and they're cracking bud. The only issue with any micro set is to take them apart and blow them out regularly. If you don't they go pop quite easily lol.

If any have gone "pop" I doubt it would of been due to Dust ingress (although it is good to blow machines out every so often).

With our MicorMigs, on the earlier releases, we had a issue with some Control Transformers. We had a bad batch from our supplier where not all of the laminations had been secured together. We identified it but it took a while to exactly find out how many machines had been effected. This "bad batch" issue was resolved around March this year and so is not a problem going forward and as far as I know all of the effected machines have had their Control Transformers replaced under warranty .

I wouldn't put jassic in the same league as lorch personally. I'm sure they do a good job and the 5 year warranty is appealing (if it's not held with a ton of T and C's) but overall the lorch will be a superior unit. I wouldn't like to drop a jassic from 2 feet (doesn't happen often granted) but if it did the lorch was built around that exact gruelling test.

That's a pretty tough bit of kit!!! Ours are for training purposes only. I am a big fan of Lorch having worked with them for several years. As for setting up and keeping costs down, Jasic was the best solution. We got an AC/DC TIG set with foot pedal for a trial. I put it through it's paces and it didn't disappoint. The foot pedal works extremely well even at low amps and doesn't blast in when your only touching the pedal with your little toe! The pulse feature was great and work produced in mild, stainless and ally was all done to a high standard. We would all prefer Miller, Cebora, Lincoln, Lorch etc etc but as a cheap alternative the Jasic does nicely. Also the warranty from the shop is 2 years and registering their cereal number with Jasic sets up the 5 year warranty...simple.
