Micro welding with the Oxy-turbo 200 HELP

Hello,

I have an Oxy-Turbo 200 and I would like to use it for micro welding different materials, however I have no experience at all using oxy-turbo or oxyacetylene. Is it the oxy-turbo almost the same as oxyacetylene? Is it possible to use this microsoldering needles in a portapack or similar?
Anyone in North London (N7) would like to come to play with it at the same time of giving me some directions?

My father (surgeon by trade) always made jewellery with his oxy-acetylene using a syringe needle. Don't know about this oxy-turbo, though...

Hello, Thanks for your answer. Do you remember what rods or wire did he use? What materials did he weld? I am wondering what do I need to use for steel, brass, copper, bronze, aluminium, etc to be thin enough. I am not going to weld gold or silver.
