Binzel are the Hoover of Euro torches I guess, I currently have one, that said, I've bought most of my stuff from Weldequip, and he's selling Parweld torches (link to shop), which are a well known brand, and look good to me.
As I am looking for one too maybe it would be helpfull if someone could explain what the actual differences are between the type 15/25/36 type torches are.
Roughly speaking, the model number relates to the current carrying capacity of the torch, MB15 is the smallest and is usually fitted to machines under 180A or so, MB25 up to say 270A and MB36 is a monster one fitted on big machines designed to be used at high currents for extended periods.
Much obliged Wozzaaah. Yet another of those mind traps sneaked around and now understood.
I had visions of shop owners trying to tell me I must have a 36 or end up frying myself...... Now I just need to find a conversion kit round Newbury.
