mig welder mask ?

i just bought a small 150 amp mig welder to start practing with
but first i need a good mask thats going to protect my eyes properly.
which ones should i be looking at ?

hello its worth checking out weldequips shop. many have the budget auto mask and give good feed back

Most helmets will do MIG and Arc - expensive ones are for TIG. The autodarkening ones are fabulous - they allow you to see where the torch is before you start welding. Definitely go for one of those rather than a fixed shade mask as they make life a lot easier.

For which one - the Siflite and Parweld helmets are the cheapest ones being sold by proper suppliers at the moment.

That's an SWP helmet rather than a SIF one, nice and might be good for TIG welding as well as MIG depending on the model.

No need to go to that much money just for a basic MIG helmet.

I was so impressed by shop price here I bought 5 SifLite Auto Darkening Welding Helmets from weldequip, I see he's now chucking in gloves and sleeves, which makes todays deal an even better bargain!!

(ps, I bought five coz my memory is fading and, I forget where I leave things )
