Milwaukee Packout

Does any one have and use this system?
I just sprung for the basic 3 box system
Just wondering what helpful additions you lot have with yours?

I bought the same set a while ago. The wheeled box is a bit hit and miss due the lost space for wheels and axle. It just used shoving spare charges etc in.

I bought the XL box, similar size but full capacity. Also bought a few other boxes too and shadow foam inserts.

I might splash out on a few more boxes that way I can label the up and just take out what boxes I need for any given job.

Well I just bit the bullet and ordered 6 of the standard packout toolboxes to go with the kit.

I have two of the above sets, best out there for toughness,, great for site work just take the boxes you need for the job. Haven’t added anything yet, I’m waiting for my new commercial defender to arrive and I’m going to customise the back of that.

I have not yet been sucked into them, but it’s more because they’re too expensive than I don’t think they’re a good idea!

Re defender etc, one of the racking makers (could be bott I’ll see if I can find it) does a pull out tray that’s got the pack out holes cut into it so you just build off that.

Looks a really good idea. Down side is you can’t get to the bottom boxes without working your way down, from what I can see?

Id need to lie in a dark room for about 15 years to recover from the shock of buying the stackout boxes let alone the defender.
Our vet has a sliding tray set up in a pick up, with various boxes in frames to slide out, works really well.

That’s partly why I mentioned the slidy things. My truck is racked out with them and they’re really handy.

Just sort of putting it out there as a couple of people have mentioned taking them out and about.

I ordered a bunch more stuff yesterday from bigred and it will be delivered lunch time today. That's good service.

I looked at them for the back of my pickup. The rear seat is removed and the area turned into a dog cage and storage area. The pack out boxes were just to big to fit the way I wanted them. Quite relieved, it was going to cost a fair whack for what i wanted. Needed up with a three drawer thing from the pound shop, cost me £15! Will probably go for the pack out boxes for my new pickup, it will have a wee bit more room

But the size of the whole bed. A few guys online have made / bought a generic bed slide and screwed packout mounts to it which is possibly a cheaper way around it.

Screwfix have these at the moment for £220 inc vat for the 3 set which is pretty keen considering mine were £200 inc vat Nov ‘20.

They look good, I’m going to use designing and making my own as my learning to use my cnc plasma and brake press project. I use heavy duty slides in my day job so have plenty of those.

I didn't realise there were 2 types of toolboxes.. The new ones are cheaper and not so heavy duty. But still well made nethertheless

I've actually been eyeing these up myself. All the photos of the base system that I've seen online have the metal corners.

I'm wondering if it's just that the base systems have metal and the add ons don't, rather than a revision thing?
