Hi well im not at the moment but i was asking in a general senseor should that be in a idiot sensewhat material are you welding what thickness?
Prob no need for a gap then, But if you do find a gap lower your juice a wee bit.
In the General sense of a "gap"
ball point figure 2.5 of a gap. If your welding anything over 6MM plate then a bevel of 30 degree, (ie included angle of 60) with a 2.5 landing edge.
On the other hand if your welding below 6mm but not below 4MM then a 2.5 gap
Anything below 4mm have a gap of about 1.5 to about 2mm general speaking you want to be welding with a gap the same size as your rod.
