MIO paint

Can MIO paint be used around welded areas? i'm replacing some outriggers and want to coat the insides of them before welding them into place, i will be using a pure zinc paint (zinga) first but want to top coat it with something else for extra protection.

Don't think you can weld through MIO as it's thick old stuff. Not sure how it will hold up to heat from other side but the fumes will be very nasty

Ok thanks, will just use it away from the weld areas then. Can you recommend a good quality MIO paint?
