Mitre Saw Stand

This is my first post.
Has anyone on the forum made a mitre saw stand? I want to make one for my Evolution compound mitre saw and have been looking at the various types available on the net. I have some suitable rollers for supporting the longer work pieces already.

hi and welcome i made one for mine and a adjustable stand. very low tech box section welded on some old steel van wheels very stable not very portable

Not quite the type of mitre saw your thinking of, but my cold saw is mounted on a stand of sorts, with lockable castors. I`ll take some pics in the morning if it would help.

Thanks Madkayaker and JayRS4. I have in mind something which can be moved around the shop easily but does not need to be truly portable (won't be putting in a truck etc). The Port-a-mate unit seems quite wll thought out and would be a good project.
