using a freeman 180 mma welder just thought i would ave a go since the weather is poor be as critical as u wish i could do with the feed back

It looks better to my eye than some fairly similar images posted recently of MIG welds done with the world's favourite MIG welder.
How thick is the sheet?

too thick for the welder its all the scrap i had left i asure u its all mma welded its about 9mm thick roughly and i tend to pass from my right hand to my left hand and i find it easier with my left

I like it. You know how to bring a smile to my face rather than cross the line into prompting a bit of an argument. In this case, I trust my comparison was literally true based on (1) pretty darned good arc welds (this thread) vs (2) welds done with a first class MIG machine (another thread) where perhaps the gas supply was suspect or something.
I admit that my (genuinely) first ever MIG welds were much better than my awful first few arc welds (all on thin sheet, MIG and arc).

i was going to clean my work up first but as it was scrap and it was practice i felt no need but would it make my welds look better because ill grind everything from now on :-)

the thing with all welding is preparation and if you dont clean up the work piece then it will be contaminated you will also get better welds
