Hi all, i would appreciate any ideas on the following plan of mine,
I hope to build myself a roughly 18ft long x 10ft wide x 11ft high box shed from 2'' thick wall box with a set of ramps to drive a car up high enough to do simple work like oil changes and exhausts, there may have to be a little side exit door for exiting the car up on the ramps, the shed is mainly to be used to store 2 cars while im away for work one on top of the other, the shed will have good ventilation and a round roof and im toying with the idea of the roof sliding back some way for natural light in the warm weather,on the mobile side of things I just need a lift axle on the rear and the provision to mount a drawbar on the front, it will never have to move very far. your thoughts please! thanks in advance

i have one and ist just not quite wide enough and suffers from condensation pretty badly, i was hoping to get courigated iron with insulation for the roof, ill try draw what i want to do to get the idea across better, my 40 ft container just got filled with sxxte in the family buisness so that was a fail lol

Anything metal is going to get condensation.
What about making a wooden framed shed, but add in a metal fame for the ramp and car deck.
This could be done the other way and make the car deck/frame/trailer and add a wooden framed skin around it.

yea now im just thinking of buying one of those pre made steel sheds with non drip lining and fit a car lift in it?

First post on here, I built a 6m x 7m Garage from rolled steel sheet and pressed steel support work, The condensation still appeared even with the anti drip fleece layer. If i was going to do it again, I would get the insulated panels for the roof. My walls are clad and I now need to find something to put up on the roof before the winter comes. Just a bit if info for you.
