Mobile toolbox / 'workshop'

Hi guys, does anyone have any experience with the trolley style toolboxes that are now being sold? there are various makes / prices, and I want to get a real solid one. I had a play with some in Homebase and they were pretty crap, but they were 30 quid and the prices seem to go to about £250 ish.

That's because they are at two ends of the quality scale. I don't know ant thing about Beta tools, however I bet they will outlast anything from HB or in the second link.

I've had a few bits & pieces from Beta.... good enough but a bit pricy imo

Got a few Beta spanners, seem well made.

I have a Beta Metal Roll cab that lived in my works van for 4 years, the only bit that died was the draw locking about the same quality as modern Snap-on.

Don't know about the plastic boxes.

Got quite a lot of Beta stuff including a big roll cab. Every bit as good as Snap-on for less money.

Friend at work has had 2 Stanley versions that look just like the Beta one in your first link.
Both have fallen to bits after a short time.

I know the Stanley one you mean, I bought one myself and it was pony. Although it looks like the Beta version it's nothing like it. The build quality of the Beta item is worlds apart.
