moisture separator/particle filter

Ive got a sealey 2hp compressor, a sealey schutz gun and 6 litres of stoneguard. Question is do i need a moisture separator/particle filter?

The himidity here is very low as I run a dehumidifer 24/7 and I'm not worried about particles as the stoneguard is textured and only going underneath a car. getting a moisture separator/particle filter will take till end of next week and i realy just want to get on with it - shall i? or should i be patient and get the thing ordered?

Just do it, moisture/bits are only a problem for paint that is going to be looked at. For stonechip/schutz it makes no difference.

I'd go for it too. Never had obvious problem spraying stonechip without a water trap. There's less air involved in spraying stonechip than paint so it's probably less important to collect the water.
