Monowheel bike trailer

anyone seen this monowheel bike trailer. I like the design, but not sure that pin hitch is legal

Pin hitches as legal but just not as "user friendly" (noisy for one thing) than the standard ball hence you don't see them other than on plant etc.

I have seen a vintage mono wheel trailer towed by a 1950's Ford Prefect, but it had two fixing points and a central castor wheel.
It was owned and driven for many years by a Mr Paul Clarke of Melton Mowbray, but I am unsure if he still owns it.

Surely that's going to tip over if you carry a bike with a high centre of gravity when cornering fast?

It'll only work with a pin hitch though a ball hitch wouldn't keep it upright. Hmm another project to add to the list.

That was my concern, esp with a pin type hitch, although I cant see a 50mm ball doing any better

Only if the ring is free to spin, and it looks like that one is welded solid to the tube.

So, it won't fall over but it'll flop a bit - nowhere near as much as with a ball though.

I've seen the build for this on a vw friendly forum, I'll see if I can dig it out.
It's only for transporting a fancy push bike to vw shows, I show off item as such.
